With what promises to be another stacked midweek schedule of racing from all across Australia, Wednesday morning offers a string of noteworthy meetings from the likes of Sandown Hillside, Doomben, Ascot, and Warwick Farm.

On that note, for those of you who are looking to put on a midweek flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of noteworthy tips that are worth keeping an eye out for on Wednesday morning.

Betting Tip: HAPAIRA win – 10/3 @ Paddy Power

06:20 AM – Sandown Hillside – Race 6

For our opening Tip of the Day, we take a look at the Ladbrokes Back Yourself BM70 meeting at Sandown Hillside.

Putting in what was another dominant display at Echuca last week and securing victory over MRS. O’MALLEY by over two lengths on another soft track, HAPAIRA is enjoying a real purple patch this year. Heavily praised by the training duo of Ciaron Maher & David Eustace heading into Wednesday’s meeting, the four-year-old has continued to shine after landing back-to-back wins in open trials at Cranbourne and Werribee.

Already landing two victories this year and holding a win percentage of 50%, it should also be noted that a talented HAPAIRA has only failed to secure at least a place finish in just one of her six starts. Among a favourable line-up at Sandown in midweek, HAPAIRA should be confident of making another statement in Victoria.

Betting Tip: MY DEMETRA top-three finish – 11/5 @ Bet365

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

06:45 AM – Warwick Farm – Race 6

For our second Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Warwick Farm and the Tab BM70 meeting over 1400m.

While the likes of PETRONIUS (5/2 with Coral) and BIGBOYROY (17/5 with William Hill) might be stealing most the headlines heading into Wednesday’s meeting, we are backing another eye-catching run from four-year-old, MY DEMETRA.

Despite only just missing out on yet another top-three finish at Randwick in her last start, trainers Peter and Paul Snowden do find their mare enjoying a real purple patch. In fact, along with landing back-to-back third and second-place finishes at Wednesday’s course earlier in the year, she has now managed to secure a place finish in three of her last four appearances. Holding a place percentage of over 72%, there is no doubt that MY DEMETRA should be confident of extending on that tally at Warwick Farm.
