With what promises to be another hectic midweek schedule from across the Australian horse racing scene, Tuesday morning offers us a string of noteworthy meetings from the likes of Newcastle, Mackay, Armidale, and Hamilton.
On that note, for those of you who are looking to stick on a midweek flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are certainly worth keeping an eye out for on Tuesday morning.
06:50 AM – Newcastle – Race 6
For our opening Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Newcastle and what should be a standout Class 2 (1200m) meeting in midweek.
Previously claiming victory at Tuesday’s course in another Class 2 meeting and over the same distance back in March, ZOUOLOGIST should be confident of extending on what has been a recent purple patch. Extending on his 71.4% place percentage after an eye-catching run at Warwick Farm earlier in the month, the talented four-year-old has now landed at least a top-three finish in his last four consecutive starts.
Heavily praised by the training duo of Tara and Philippe Vigouroux in the build-up to Tuesday’s meeting at Newcastle, we’re backing another victory for ZOUOLOGIST in what is a competitive field.
06:57 AM – Mackay – Race 9
For our second Tip of the Day, we take a look at the BM58 meeting at Mackay and one four-year-old who rightfully opens Tuesday’s meeting as a favourite with the bookmakers.
Putting in what was a stunning display and romping to victory over MAGIC CODY by three and a half lengths in his last start at Mackay, all eyes will be on one horse in midweek. Quickly gaining a budding reputation from across Australia, SANTISIMO has continued on quite the run of form. Along with impressing in back-to-back place finishes at Rockhampton earlier in the year, trainer Tim Cook has seen his gelding only fail to secure at least a top-three finish in three of his nine starts this campaign.
Also previously enjoy his trips to Mackay with two victories in three trips to Queensland, we’re backing another eye-catching ride for SANTISIMO in midweek.
