Australian Horse Racing Tips – 28 May 2020

Horse Racing

With the Australian horse racing scene once again taking centre stage from behind closed doors this week, Thursday morning promises to offer us a string of noteworthy meetings from the likes of Belmont, Cairns, Bathurst, and Ballarat.

On that note, for those of you who are looking to put on a midweek flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for on Thursday morning.

Betting Tip: SALINA DREAMING – 11/8 @ William Hill

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

07:10 AM – Gosford – Race 7

For our opening Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Gosford and there is no doubt that all eyes will be on the bookmakers’ favourite, SALINA DREAMING.

Bursting onto the scene in Australia and with trainer Angela Davies heaping the praise on her three-year-old, she will be looking to make it three wins in three starts when she travels to New South Wales on Thursday morning. Really making a statement after claiming victory at Muswellbrook over 1000m in a Class 2 meeting when opening May, SALINA DREAMING romped to the win over MR POLAR by almost three lengths.

While late money is expected to come in for a returning SKYRAY (12/1 with Coral) after a trial victory at Warwick Farm last week, it is hard to see anything other than another successful morning for the Davies stable.

Betting Tip: BET ON LOVE – 3/1 @ Paddy Power

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

07:22 AM – Cairns – Race 7

For our second Tip of the Day, we take a look at Cairns and the three-year-old Handicap (870m).

Putting in what was another eye-catching display at Thursday’s course and quickly gaining a reputation as a budding track specialist, BET ON LOVE managed to beat OCTOBER STORM by half a length and should be relishing another soft track in midweek. Also gaining plenty of plaudits after romping to victory in the three-year-old HANDICAP last month, trainer Roy Chillemi certainly has a talented filly on his hands.

Holding a win percentage of 25% and securing two wins in her last three appearances at Cairns, we’re backing BET ON LOVE to be too strong for what is a competitive meeting on Thursday morning.
