Australian Horse Racing Tips – 29 April 2020

Horse Racing

With another action-packed midweek schedule of horse racing from all across Australia, Wednesday promises to offer a string of eye-catching races from the likes of Warwick Farm, Sandown, Ascot, and the Sunshine Coast.

On that note, for those of you who are looking to put on a midweek flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of noteworthy tips that are worth keeping an eye out for on Wednesday morning.

Betting Tip: FORBIDDEN LOVE win – 5/2 @ Bet365

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

03:50 AM – Warwick Farm – Race 1

For our first Tip of the Day, we look at the opening race at Warwick Farm and one two-year-old who rightfully opens Wednesday’s contest as a favourite with the bookmakers. Despite eventually finishing sixth on what was a heavy track at Randwick earlier in the month, FORBIDDEN LOVE will be relishing a return to Sydney.

Picking up a convincing victory in her last trip to Warwick Farm over 1000m last month, trainers Richard and Michael Freedman will be confident of FORBIDDEN LOVE extending on her 50% win percentage in midweek.

Elsewhere, also previously securing a victory in Sydney and landing a second-place finish at Warwick in a trial a fortnight ago, HINCHBEAST is enjoying quite the purple patch and can be found priced at 2/1 with William Hill to extend on her own 75% place record in midweek.

Betting Tip: MUSWELLBROOK top-three finish – 11/5 @ Paddy Power

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

06:55 AM – Sandown – Race 7

For our second Tip of the Day, we make our way to Sandown and the BM70 Hcp (1600m) in Melbourne.

While MUSWELLBROOK may have been disappointed to have only secured a third-place finish at this very course and over Wednesday’s decent earlier in the month, the four-year-old did gain a long list of admirers. Finishing under half a length behind LUCABELLE and expecting to enjoy the conditions at Sandown in midweek, he has now landed three consecutive places on the bounce, including a very eye-catching second-place finish at Moonee Valley over 1600m last month.

Although Paul Preuske’s ORLEANS ROCK (9/4 with Betfair) might open Wednesday’s meeting as the favourite in Melbourne, we’re backing MUSWELLBROOK to extend on his 43.5% place percentage at Sandown.
