With what is a standout schedule of horse racing from across Australia this weekend, Saturday morning promises us an action-packed card from the likes of Belmont, Morphettville Parks, Rockhampton, and Pioneer Park.

On that note, for those of you who are looking to stick on a flutter this weekend, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of noteworthy tips that are worth keeping an eye out for on Saturday morning.

Betting Tip: GATES OF BABYLON win – 9/2 @ Paddy Power

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

08:40 AM – Belmont – Race 7

For our opening Tip of the Day, we take a look at Belmont and the RTG 72+ Handicap (1600m).

Putting in what was a stunning display down the stretch at Ascot earlier in the month, many across Australia are excited by talented gelding, GATES OF BABYLON. Snatching victory off of SHE’S ALRIGHT by a nose in his last start, trainer Brett Pope has seen his four-year-old secure back-to-back victories and has quickly become a track specialist at Ascot. Holding a win percentage of over 33% and also claiming victory at Saturday’s course last year in the three-year-old classic, the mood in Pope’s stable should be at a high heading into this weekend’s meeting.

While late money is expected to come in for track specialist FESTIVAL MISS (7/2 @ William Hill), we’re backing what could be another standout performance for GATES OF BABYLON.

Betting Tip: ANGELIC RULER win – 9/2 @ Coral

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

09:15 AM – Belmont – Race 8

For our second Tip of the Day, we once again turn our attention back to Western Australia and what should be a thrilling Belmont Sprint over 1400m.

Despite finishing a length behind the winner in her last start at Ascot earlier in the month, ANGELIC RULER has enjoyed a bright year and should be relishing another trip to Belmont this weekend. Including landing a win at Ascot on another 1400m track last month, the training duo of Daniel and Ben Pearce have seen their mare enjoy a run of form that has seen her secure a top-three finish in 14 of her last 18 appearances. It should also be noted that she has previously landed back-to-back victories at Belmont in the two-year-old plate.

Elsewhere, with five wins at Belmont and seen as a real track specialist this weekend, it is worth noting that MAN BOOKER can be found at 15/4 with Bet365 to secure a place finish on Saturday morning.
