With another stacked midweek schedule of British horse racing on the cards, Thursday offers us a host of noteworthy meetings from the likes of Exeter, Chelmsford, Ayr and Southwell.

On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a midweek flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for throughout Thursday.

14:40 PM – Ayr – Race 5

Betting Tip: SIENNA DREAM win – 9/2 @ William Hill
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our opening Tip of the Day, we take a look at Ayr and the Class 6 Christmas Day At Western House Hotel Handicap.

While KODIMOOR (4/1 with Paddy Power) might be seen as a marginal top pick with the bookmakers on Thursday afternoon, SIENNA DREAM has enjoyed her own recent impressive run of form. Last seen at Hamilton on September 1st when finishing second in the Class 4 Flower Of Scotland EBF Fillies’ Handicap, trainer Alistair Whillans still holds his five-year-old in high regard. Becoming somewhat of a track specialist at Ayr with seven of her last eight starts taking place at Thursday’s track, SIENNA DREAM will also be helped by the news that jockey Rowan Scott will once again take the saddle in midweek.

Previously claiming victory at Ayr in the Book Your Christmas Party At Ayr Racecourse Handicap last year, we’re backing another successful afternoon for the Whillans stable.

15:30 PM – Exeter – Race 5

Betting Tip: EYEOFTHESCORPION win – 1/1 @ Unibet
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our second Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Exeter and the Class 5 imeform Premium Ratings Available At racingtv.com Handicap Hurdle.

Lining up among what appears to be a favourable field in Devon on Thursday afternoon, it is no surprise that many are excited to see EYEOFTHESCORPION back in action. Rightfully seen as a standout pick with the bookmakers in midweek, Graeme McPherson’s six-year-old really laid down a marker when last seen at Huntingdon on September 30th. Putting in what was a thumping display and a career-best performance in the Bet 10 Get 20 With MansionBet Handicap Hurdle, he stormed to victory over DOLLNAMIX by eight and a half lengths.

On paper, EYEOFTHESCORPION should be too strong for the chasing pack at Exeter on Thursday.
