With the midweek schedule of British horse racing opening up on Tuesday afternoon, we are offered a host of noteworthy meetings from the likes of Lingfield, Hereford, Huntingdon and Newcastle.

On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a midweek flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for throughout Tuesday.

14:50 PM – Newcastle – Race 1

Betting Tip: PAX BRITANNICA win – 15/8 @ Paddy Power
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our first Tip of the Day, we take a look at the opening contest at Newcastle and the Class 4 Betway Handicap.

Rightfully seen as a standout pick with the bookmakers on Tuesday afternoon, many across Britain will be excited to see PAX BRITANNICA back in action after going from strength to strength since returning from a mild break back in September. Last seen out in Essex at Chelmsford on October 29th, the three-year-old talent claimed victory in the Now Never Beaten By SP Handicap after seeing off WILDOMAR by three lengths.

Now securing back-to-back wins, including another eye-catching display in the Hotel & Conferencing At Wolverhampton Apprentice Handicap at Wolverhampton last month, trainer David Simcock still believes that he could have a budding group racer on his hands.

15:23 PM – Lingfield – Race 6

Betting Tip: ROBIN GOLD – 7/2 @ QuinnBet
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our second Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Lingfield and the Weatherbys Racing Diaries Handicap Hurdle on Tuesday.

The only Class 3 contest to take place in Surrey, ROBIN GOLD should be looking to upset the odds after what has been a hugely eye-catching run of form over the past six weeks. While AS I SEE IT (3/1 with Bet365) might be seen as a marginal top pick in midweek, the seven-year-old was last seen at this very track back on October 22nd when claiming victory in the Class 4 Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Mares’ Handicap Hurdle.

With jockey Bridget Andrews once again taking the saddle on Tuesday as the duo secured victory at Lingfield last month, ROBIN GOLD has now managed to secure back-to-back wins since returning from a brief 66-day break back in September.
