British Horse Racing Tips – 11 June 2020

Horse Racing

With what has been another standout midweek schedule of British horse racing from behind closed doors, Thursday afternoon once again offers us a string of noteworthy meetings from the likes of Beverley, Newbury, and Yarmouth.

On that note, for those of you looking to stick a flutter on this week, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for on Thursday.

Betting Tip: MAGICAL SPIRIT win – 10/3 @ Coral

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

13:15 PM – Beverley – Race 2

For our opening Tip of the Day, we take a look at Beverley and the Pure Broadband Handicap Class 4 meeting on Thursday afternoon.

On paper, one of the standout contests in Yorkshire this week, Kevin Ryan’s MAGICAL SPIRIT should be relishing a return to action. Last seen at Newcastle back in November when finishing a whisker behind PADDY POWER in another Class 4 meeting, the talented four-year-old rightfully has a list of growing admirers.

Really impressing when claiming the victory over FINAL GO in the betuk.com Your Home For Online Betting Handicap at Newcastle last year, MAGICAL SPIRIT has also previously enjoyed his trips to Thursday’s course. In his last appearance at Beverley, the four-year-old led from the start to claim a convincing victory over DANCING RAVE on another 5f track.

Betting Tip: CHAMPS DE REVES win – 13/2 @ William Hill

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

16:45 PM – Newbury – Race 6

For our second Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Newbury and one five-year-old who will be looking to upset the odds this week.

Finishing the days racing in Berkshire with the MansionBet’s Beaten By A Head Handicap meeting, CHAMPS DE REVES should be relishing a return to action. Really coming of age since partnering up with jokey Megan Nicholls, he was last seen out in Chelmsford when claiming victory over AMJAADY at 8/1 odds in another Class 4 meeting. In fact, along with picking up the win in the Weatherbys Racing Bank Foreign Exchange Handicap at Bath prior to the break, he has claimed the victory in two of his three starts since joining up with Nicholls.

While INVOLVED (9/4 with Betfair) might open Thursday’s meeting as a landslide favourite with the bookies, don’t be surprised to see Nicholls and CHAMPS DE REVES cause another upset on their return to action.
