With a hectic schedule from across British horse racing in midweek, Thursday afternoon offers us a stacked day of meetings from the likes of Salisbury, Hamilton and Bath.

On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a midweek flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of noteworthy tips that are worth keeping an eye out for throughout Thursday.

Betting Tip: AWARD SCHEME win – 3/1 @ Bet365

14:20 PM – Salisbury – Race 4

For our opening Tip of the Day, we take a look at Salisbury and what should be an exciting Class 1 British Stallion Studs EBF Upavon Fillies’ Stakes on Thursday afternoon.

While QUEEN POWER (6/4 with Coral) might be seen as a standout pick with the bookmakers in midweek, there is no doubt that a high-flying AWARD SCHEME will be looking to upset the odds and make another statement. Last seen at York on July 25th when storming to victory in the Class 3 Skybet Britain’s Most Popular Online Bookmaker EBF Stallions Fillies’ Handicap, the three-year-old saw off BLACK LOTUS by five lengths. Seen as a real blossoming group racer and held in high regard by trainer William Haggas, AWARD SCHEME also claimed victory in his last trip to Salisbury.

Catching the eye in the British EBF Fillies’ Handicap last month, we’re backing another fruitful afternoon for the Haggas stable.

Betting Tip: TELL WILLIAM win – 7/2 @ Paddy Power

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

16:25 PM – Bath – Race 2

For our second Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Bath and the Class 4 Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Handicap.

The standout meeting in Somerset, many across Britain will be excited to see TELL WILLIAM in action again on Thursday afternoon. Really impressive since returning from a 271-day break at Newbury on June 11th, the four-year-old was last seen on July 18th when claiming victory in the Class 5 Each Way Extra At Bet365 Handicap. Also stepping up in class and securing an eye-catching second-place finish in the Visit For Free Tips Handicap, trainer Marcus Tregoning appears to have a talent on his hands.

With a growing reputation as a track specialist at Bath and also claiming the win in the Frome Scaffolding Handicap at Thursday’s track last year, TELL WILLIAM should be looking to claim back-to-back victories for the first time in midweek.
