With the midweek British horse racing schedule opening up on Tuesday afternoon, we are offered a host of noteworthy meetings from the likes of Huntingdon, Leicester, Hereford and Wolverhampton.

On that note, for those of you looking to open the week with a flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for throughout Tuesday.

12:45 PM – Hereford – Race 2

Betting Tip: PROJECT MARS win – 3/1 @ QuinnBet
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our opening Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Hereford and the Class 5 Let’s Talk Handicap Hurdle on Tuesday lunchtime.

Last seen at Kelso back on March 16th, many are excited to see PROJECT MARS back in action after what has been an extended break. Really appearing to be going from strength to strength since swapping Nick Gifford’s stable for Fergal O’Brien two years ago, the eight-year-old is still held in high regard and was enjoying a real Indian summer earlier in the year. Already collecting a victory at Huntingdon in the Class 5 Betway Handicap Hurdle, it should also be noted that he has formed an eye-catching partnership with jockey Paddy Brennan.

Among a favourable line-up in midweek, we’re backing PROJECT MARS to be too strong for the chasing pack at Hereford on Tuesday.

14:00 PM – Huntingdon – Race 5

Betting Tip: FLOATING ROCK win – 4/1 @ Bet365
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our second Tip of the Day, we take a look at Huntingdon and the Class 4 MansionBet Handicap Hurdle.

Making a return from wind surgery last month, FLOATING ROCK will be hoping to simply carry on from where he left off at Fontwell last time out on September 12th. Putting in what was his best display since a maiden run at Catterick last year, the five-year-old claimed victory in the Class 4 MansionBet Faller Insurance Novices’ Hurdle after seeing off SHANTOU MASTER. Appearing to be enjoying a real purple patch since returning from a 218-day break back in August, FLOATING ROCK rightfully opens up Tuesday’s meeting at Huntingdon as a marginal top pick with the bookmakers.

Elsewhere, for those of you looking for an outside shout in midweek, it could be worth keeping an eye out for GLIMPSE OF GOLD (10/1 with Paddy Power) for an each-way finish.
