With this weekend’s British horse racing action opening up on Saturday afternoon, we have a stacked day from the likes of Wolverhampton, Cheltenham, Lingfield and Uttoxeter on the cards.

On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a weekend flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for on Saturday.

15:25 PM – Cheltenham – Race 6

Betting Tip: CAPTAIN TOM CAT – 3/1 @ Bet365
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our first Tip of the Day, we take a look at the penultimate meeting at Cheltenham on Saturday afternoon and the Class 3 Paddy Power First Millionaire Qualifier Intermediate Handicap Hurdle.

Last seen at this very track when laying down what was another marker, CAPTAIN TOM CAT stormed to victory in the Handicap Hurdle after seeing off DEBESTYMAN. Receiving a string of praise from trainer Dr Richard Newland and glad to see jockey Cillin Leonard once again take the saddle after their victory at Cheltenham last month, it is no surprise that the five-year-old high-flyer is seen as a standout pick this weekend.

Winning each of his last three starts on the bounce, we’re backing another successful afternoon for CAPTAIN TOM CAT on Saturday.

20:00 PM – Wolverhampton – Race 8

Betting Tip: LAST SURPRISE – 13/10 @ William Hill
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our second Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to the night session at Wolverhampton and the Class 3 Ladbrokes Watch Racing Online For Free Fillies’ Conditions Stakes this weekend.

Really going from strength to strength since making a return from racing’s enforced break over the summer at Kempton, LAST SURPRISE is held in high regard by the training duo of Simon & Ed Crisford. Last seen securing a silver medal finish when stepping up to Class 2 in the Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Handicap on October 9th, the three-year-old is seen as a budding group racer.

Already securing back-to-back victories at Kempton and Pontefract since making a return to action, there is no doubt that LAST SURPRISE should be too strong for the chasing pack on Saturday night.
