With the midweek British horse racing schedule rolling onto Thursday, we are offered a stacked day of meetings from the likes of Carlisle, Chelmsford and Wincanton.

On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a midweek flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a handful of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for throughout Thursday.

15:55 PM – Wincanton – Race 4

Betting Tip: GET BACK GET BACK win – 7/2 @ Betfair
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our opening Tip of the Day, we take a look at Wincanton and the Racing TV HD On Sky 426 Handicap Hurdle on Thursday Afternoon.

The only Class 3 contest to take place in Somerset in midweek, many are excited to see GET BACK GET BACK make a return to action after what was a very impressive performance last time out at Plumpton on September 20th. Making a step up to Class 3, the five-year-old claimed victory in the Win With mylittletip.co.uk Handicap Hurdle, a result that trainer Harry Fry branded a career best display. Appearing to be enjoying a real purple patch since returning from racing’s enforced break back in June, he has won two of his last three starts, including a victory at Uttoxeter on July 23rd.

Seen as a marginal top pick with the bookmakers on Thursday, it is well worth keeping an eye out for GET BACK GET BACK.

19:30 PM – Chelmsford – Race 6

Betting Tip: JOHAN win – 9/4 @ Paddy Power
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our second Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Chelmsford and the Class 2 tote.co.uk Now Never Beaten By SP Handicap.

Undoubtedly the standout pick in Essex on Thursday evening, JOHAN will be looking to continue on another eye-catching display at Ayr last time out on September 19th. While LORD NEIDIN (15/8 with Bet365) might be seen as a marginal top pick with the bookmakers, famed trainer William Haggas saw his three-year-old claim victory in the Luxury Staycations At Western House Hotel Handicap and appears to have gone from strength to strength since making a step up in class. Still seen as a budding group racer, he has managed to win two of his four starts after returning from racing’s enforced break at Newbury back in June.

Appearing to be in a straight shoot out with LORD NEIDIN on Thursday, we’re backing JOHAN to make it back-to-back wins in Essex.
