With this weekend’s horse racing schedule opening up on Saturday afternoon, we are offered a stacked day of meetings from the likes of Ascot, Stratford, Catterick and Wolverhampton.

On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a weekend flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for throughout Saturday.

13:20 PM – Ascot – Race 1

Betting Tip: STRADIVARIUS win – 11/4 @ Bet365
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our first Tip of the Day, we take a look at the opening meeting at Ascot and the Group 2 Qipco British Champions Long Distance Cup on Saturday afternoon.

While STRADIVARIUS might have been disappointed to have only secured a midfield finish last time out at Longchamp on October 4th, the six-year-old is still seen as a landslide pick with the bookmakers this weekend and famed trainer John Gosden will be glad to see his talent make a return to Ascot. Along with claiming victory at Goodwood and Saturday’s track since making a return from racing’s enforced break over the summer, it should be noted that STRADIVARIUS holds a stunning record in Berkshire.

Including victory in the Gold Cup back in June, he has now claimed the win in three of his last four stars at Ascot.

20:00 PM – Wolverhampton – Race 7

Betting Tip: MOVING LIGHT win – 20/21 @ Paddy Power
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our second Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to the night session at Wolverhampton and the Class 3 Follow At The Races On Twitter Handicap.

Undoubtedly the standout meeting in the Midlands on Saturday night, there is no doubt that many are excited to see a high-flying MOVING LIGHT back in action this weekend. Really bursting onto the scene after picking up a victory in a maiden run at Leicester in the British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes, the three-year-old is seen to be a budding group racer by trainer Saeed bin Suroor.

Marking his return from a 63-day break by laying down another marker, MOVING LIGHT was last seen at Kempton at September 18th when storming to victory in the Unibet/Breeders Backing Racing EBF Novice Stakes by almost four lengths.
