Continuing on the midweek British horse racing schedule on Wednesday afternoon, we have a stacked day of meetings from the likes of Hexham, Ffos Las, Kempton and Warwick.

On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a Wednesday flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for.

12:45 PM – Hexham – Race 1

Betting Tip: HART OF STEEL win – 23/20 @ Paddy Power
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our first Tip of the Day, we take a look at the opening contest at Hexham and the Sky Sports Racing On 415 Handicap Hurdle Northern Lights Two Mile Hurdle Series Qualifier.

Continuing to impress since returning from an extended break at this very track last month, HART OF STEEL really caught the eye last time out at Kelso on October 24th. Glad to see jockey Brian Hughes once again take the saddle on Wednesday lunchtime, the five-year-old was last seen claiming victory in the Class 4 Watch On Racing TV “National Hunt” Maiden Hurdle and he has received a string of praise from trainer Donald McCain.

Seen as a standout pick in midweek, there is no doubt that it is well worth keeping an eye out for the talented HART OF STEEL at Hexham on Wednesday.

14:50 PM – Ffos Las – Race 5

Betting Tip: OUT THE GLEN win – 4/1 @ QuinnBet
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our second Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Wales and the Class 3 Walters Handicap Hurdle at Ffos Las.

While EXPLOITEUR (3/1 with William Hill) might be seen as the standout with the bookmakers in midweek, there is no doubt that OUT THE GLEN will be looking to upset the odds and continue on what has been a very impressive run of form at Wednesday’s track. Since returning from an enforced break and managing to secure back-to-back silver medal finishes at Ffos Las over the past month, the seven-year-old is enjoying an eye-catching purple patch.

Also previously claiming victory at this very track when storming to the win in the Pendine Sands Handicap Hurdle last year, trainer Debra Hamer will see Wednesday as a real chance to secure the first victory over the past 11 months.
