With the weekend action of British horse racing getting underway on Friday afternoon, we are offered a host of noteworthy meetings from the likes of Catterick, Ayr and Newbury.

On that note, for those of you looking to open the weekend with a flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for throughout Friday.

Betting Tip: FIVEANDTWENTY win – 7/4 @ William Hill
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

13:45 PM – Catterick – Race 2

For our opening Tip of the Day, we take a look at Catterick and the Follow @catterickraces Handicap.

One of just two Class 4 contests to take place in North Yorkshire on Friday afternoon, there is no doubt that a high-flying FIVEANDTWENTY will be looking to cash in on what has been a real purple patch of late. Rightfully seen as a standout pick with the bookmakers this week, the three-year-old was last seen out at Musselburgh on September 12th when putting in another eye-catching display in the Watch On Racing TV Handicap. Claiming victory over AKAMANTO by a smidge over two lengths last week, trainer Mark Johnston has seen his filly shine since returning from racing’s enforced break at Ripon back in July.

Along with now claiming back-to-back victories, it should also be noted that FIVEANDTWENTY has won three of her four starts since ending a 222-day break and she should be confident of cashing in once again at Catterick this weekend.

Betting Tip: INCLYNE win – 11/2 @ Bet365
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

17:20 PM – Newbury – Race 8

For our second Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to the final meeting at Newbury on Friday and the Class 4 Pierre Vaudon Champagne Handicap.

While FANTASY BELIEVER and MAURIAMO (both 5/1 with Coral) might be seen as the standout pick with the bookmakers this weekend, it is well worth keeping an eye out for INCLYNE who really impressed after returning from an extended break last time out. Ending a 250-day break in empathic fashion, the four-year-old was last seen at Newmarket on June 4th when claiming victory in the Class 4 Heed Your Hunch AtBetway Handicap.

Really enjoying what was an eye-catching run of form before entering the break and previously claiming victories at the likes of Kempton back in August, we’re backing INCLYNE to upset the odds at Newbury on Friday.
