With the weekend schedule of British horse racing rolling onto Saturday afternoon, we are offered what is a stacked set of meetings from the likes of Newbury, Newmarket and Wolverhampton.

On that note, for those of you looking to open the weekend with a flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for throughout Saturday.

Betting Tip: MANAABIT win – 5/2 @ William Hill
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

14:40 PM – Newmarket – Race 2

For our opening Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Newmarket and what should be an exciting Close Brothers Asset Finance Fillies’ Handicap.

While MOSTLY (9/4 with Bet365) might be seen as a marginal top pick with the bookmakers on Saturday afternoon, it is well worth keeping an eye out for a high-flying MANAABIT. Previously entering racing’s enforced break earlier in the year with victory at Newcastle, the talented three-year-old has really gained a string of admirers after a stunning post-lockdown run. Last seen at Ascot on July 11th, he claimed victory in the Betfred “Ascot Official Bookmaker” Fillies’ Handicap and has now clinched back-to-back wins for the first time in his short tenure.

Making his first appearance at Newmarket on Saturday afternoon, we’re backing MANAABIT to make it three in three and upset the odds once again.

Betting Tip: EXTRA ELUSIVE win – 2/1 @ Unibet
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

14:50 PM – Newbury – 4

For our second Tip of the Day, we take a look at what is a stacked weekend at Newbury and the Class 1 Dubai Duty Free Legacy Cup Stakes.

Among just a four-horse line-up on Saturday afternoon, there is no doubt that EXTRA ELUSIVE will be looking to cash in on what has been a red-hot purple patch since making a return from racing’s enforced break back in June. Seen as a real budding superstar by trainer Roger Charlton, the five-year-old was last seen putting in another thumping display at Windsor on August 29th. Going from strength to strength before he makes the trip to Berkshire this weekend, EXTRA ELUSIVE claimed victory in the Gallagher Group Winter Hill Stakes last month and has now picked up back-to-back wins over the past six weeks.

It should also be noted that when he made his debut back in 2017 at this very track, EXTRA ELUSIVE stormed to victory and we’re backing a similar outcome on Saturday.
