With British horse racing marking its return to action from behind doors this week, Tuesday afternoon once again offers us what should be a stunning day of action from both Newcastle and a returning Kempton.
On that note, for those of you who are looking to stick on a midweek flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of noteworthy tips that are certainly worth keeping an eye out for on Tuesday.
14:10 PM – Kempton – Race 3
For our opening Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to a returning Kempton that offers nine meetings from behind closed doors.
While Tuesday’s Unibet Handicap contest might open with the likes of GODFATHER TOM (11/4 with Betfair) and MERCENARY ROSE (11/2 with Ladbrokes) as the standout picks with the bookmakers, there is no doubt that track specialist BENNY AND THE JETS will be relishing another trip to Surrey. With each of her last four consecutive starts taking place at Tuesday’s track, she has secured at least a top-three finish in three of those meetings, including a razor-thin second-place finish behind LAST PAGE back in November.
In fact, landing a place finish in all bar one of her previous six trips to Kempton, it is worth keeping an eye out for Sylvester Kirk’s mare on Tuesday afternoon.
14:30 PM – Newcastle – Race 4
For our second Tip of the Day, we take a look at the second day of racing at Newcastle and the Heed Your Hunch At Betway Handicap Class 2 meeting.
While it might have been a disappointing last outing for MUBAKKER when last seen at Ascot back in October, the four-year-old is held in high regard by famed trainer Sir Michael Stoute and has shown some real signs of promise. Including securing what was a rampant display at Kempton after claiming the win in a Class 5 meeting after storming to victory by eight lengths, MUBAKKER also gained a long list of admirers for beating ANGEL ALEXANDER to claim a maiden victory at Wolverhampton at the back end of 2018.
Promising a strong return to action this week on what should be a favourable track, we’re backing a return to winning ways for the Stoute stable at Newcastle in midweek.
