With an action-packed schedule from across Britain this weekend, Saturday offers us a string of noteworthy meetings from the likes of Sandown, York and Chelmsford.

On that note, for those of you out there looking to open up the weekend with a flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for throughout Saturday.

Betting Tip: DARK VISION win – 5/1 @ William Hill

13:50 PM – York – Race 1

For our opening Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to York and the Class 1 Sky Bet And Symphony Group Strensall Stakes.

While LORD GLITTERS (3/1 with Paddy Power) might open Saturday’s meeting as a standout pick with the bookies, it is certainly well worth keeping an eye out for a high-flying DARK VISION. Last seen at Pontefract on July 23rd when laying down another marker, the four-year-old claimed victory in the Sky Bet Pomfret Stakes and has gained a string of admirers since returning from racing’s enforced break.

Now winning two of his last three starts and with an eye-catching second-place finish in the Class 2 Coral Challenge sandwiched between those pair of victories, it should also be noted that DARK VISION previously claimed victory at York back in 2018.

Betting Tip: TENBURY WELLS win – 10/3 @ 888sport

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

14:05 PM – Sandown – Race 3

For our second Tip of the Day, we take a look at Sandown and what promises to be a very exciting Betway Handicap on Saturday afternoon.

One of just a handful of Class 3 contests to take place in Surrey this weekend, TENBURY WELLS should be looking to build off of what has been an impressive maiden campaign since making his debut at Wolverhampton back in December. Once again making the step up in class last time out and continuing to gain a string of praise from trainer John Gosden, the three-year-old is seen as a potential group racer.

Last seen at Ascot on July 26th when claiming victory in the Class 4 Betfred Mobile Handicap, TENBURY WELLS has now claimed back-to-back wins and is rightfully seen as a standout pick with the bookmakers on Saturday afternoon.
