British Horse Racing Tips – 22 July 2020

Horse Racing

With the British horse racing schedule rolling onto Wednesday, we are offered a string of noteworthy meetings from the likes of Catterick, Bath and Yarmouth.

On that note, for those of you out there looking to stick on a midweek flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for in midweek.

Betting Tip: HIDDEN DEPTHS win – 9/4 @ William Hill

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

17:10 PM – Bath – Race 9

For our opening Tip of the Day, we take a look at the final meeting at Bath on Wednesday and the Class 5 Handicap.

While HIDDEN DEPTHS may have marked his return from racing’s enforced break with a lacklustre display at Lingfield last month, the five-year-old has really bounced back and trainer Neil Mulholland will be boosted by what was an eye-catching display in his last start. Picking up the win in the Class 6 Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Handicap at Wednesday’s track, HIDDEN DEPTHS has impressed with back-to-back displays at Bath and is rightfully seen to be as a standout pick with the bookmakers.

While late money is expected to come in for SUFI (10/3 with 888Sport) we’re backing another successful evening for the Mulholland stable in midweek.

Betting Tip: INDIAN SOUNDS win – 3/1 @ Paddy Power

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

20:00 PM – Catterick – Race 8

For our second Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to the penultimate meeting at Catterick and the Class 4 Sky Bet Club Handicap.

Really continuing to shine since swapping trainers from Mark Johnston to Paul Midgley back in February, the four-year-old INDIAN SOUNDS has gained a string of plaudits after a glittering return from racing’s enforced break. Last seen at Bath on July 12th when claiming victory in the Class 5 Visit Handicap, he has now claimed back-to-back victories for the first time since making a debut back in 2018.

With jockey Kevin Stott once again taking the saddle on Wednesday after the duo picked up the victory in the Handicap earlier in the month, INDIAN SOUNDS should be too strong for the chasing pack in midweek.
