With the British horse racing schedule rolling onto Thursday afternoon, we have a long list of meetings from the likes of Carlisle, Lingfield, Wolverhampton and Chelmsford.

On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a midweek flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for.

15:25 PM – Carlisle – Race 6

Betting Tip: DAMIENS DILEMMA win – 2/1 @ Paddy Power
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our opening Tip of the Day, we take a look at Carlisle and the Class 3 Congratulations Natalie And Scott Forrester Handicap Chase.

Arguably the standout meeting in Cumbria on Thursday afternoon, DAMIENS DILEMMA will be looking to continue on what has been a very impressive purple patch since returning from an almost year break. Marking his return to action by claiming victory at Hexham in the Class 4 Hexham Welcomes BK Racing Handicap Chase on September 15th, the 12-year-old only extended his Indian summer with another eye-catching performance at Kelso last time out.

Previously seen at the start of the month also claiming victory in the Belhaven Brewery Handicap Chase, trainer Stuart Coltherd will be hugely confident of DAMIENS DILEMMA making it three in three at Carlisle on Thursday.

16:05 PM – Wolverhampton – Race 1

Betting Tip: FIZZY FEET win – 11/2 @ QuinnBet
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our second Tip of the Day, we take a look at the opening contest at Wolverhampton and the Class 2 Betway Handicap.

While the likes of TOP BREEZE (3/1 with Bet365) and BENNY AND THE JETS (10/3 with 888sport) might be seen as the standout picks on Thursday afternoon, FIZZY FEET will be looking to upset the odds. While the four-year-old might have been disappointed to have only secured a midfield finish at Kempton on her return from an 88-day break, trainer David Loughnane holds her in high regard. Previously entering racing’s enforced break at Wolverhampton on March 14th, she claimed victory in Wednesday’s contest and had won three of her last four starts before the break.

Holding an eye-catching record at Wolverhampton, don’t be surprised to see FIZZY FEET to upset the odds in midweek.
