With the midweek British horse racing schedule opening up on Tuesday afternoon, we are offered a host of noteworthy meetings from the likes of Beverley, Newcastle and Warwick.

On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a midweek flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for throughout Tuesday.

Betting Tip: ALJADY win – 2/1 @ Betfair
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

14:40 PM – Beverley – Race 4

For our opening Tip of the Day, we take a look at what is a stacked afternoon at Beverley and the Eddie And Violet Smith Conditions Stakes.

The only Class 2 meeting to take place in Yorkshire on Tuesday afternoon, ALJADY should be looking to upset the odds after another impressive display at Sandown last time out. Forming what has been a very eye-catching partnership with jockey Charles Bishop, the five-year-old claimed victory in the Hampton Handicap on August 31st and trainer Robert Cowell still holds his gelding in high regard. Marking his return from racing’s enforced break with victory at Haydock back in June, he has now won three of his five starts since ending a 262-day break.

While ORNATE (11/8 with Bet365) might be seen as the bookmakers’ top pick on Tuesday, ALJADY and Bishop should be confident of extending on their recent purple patch.

Betting Tip: UNDERCOVER BROTHER win – 13/2 @ Paddy Power
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

15:15 PM – Beverley – Race 5

For our second Tip of the Day, we keep our attention at Beverley and the Class 6 Churchill Tyres Handicap on Tuesday afternoon.

While the likes of KNIGHTCAP and ROYAL BRAVE (both 11/2 with Ladbrokes) might be seen as the leading picks with the bookmakers in midweek, it is well worth keeping an eye out for UNDERCOVER BROTHER in Yorkshire. Really going from strength to strength since swapping trainers from John Balding to Les Eyre back in June, the five-year-old will be confident of upsetting the odds after another impressive display last time out at Newcastle on September 8th.

While he might have finished just a nose behind LORD OF THE GLEN, UNDERCOVER BROTHER has already claimed victory in the Class 6 Kentucky Derby On Sky Sports Racing Handicap since returning from racing’s enforced break and he appears to be enjoying a new lease of life.
