British Horse Racing Tips – 23 June 2020

Horse Racing

With yet another hectic midweek schedule of horse racing from behind closed doors, the action roles onto Tuesday night and a string of noteworthy meetings at Kempton.

On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a midweek flutter, we have found a couple of helpful tips that are certainly worth keeping an eye out for on Tuesday night.

Betting Tip: CONFILS win – 13/2 @ Paddy Power

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

19:55 PM – Kempton – Race 7

For our first Tip of the Day, we take a look at the Try Our New Runner Boost At Unibet Handicap meeting in midweek.

Last seen at Sandown a smidge under 11 months ago when claiming victory in the Class 5 Twickenham Fillies’ Handicap, many are excited to see CONFILS make a much-welcomed return. Gaining plenty of admirers before almost a year interruption, he has landed the win in two of his previous three starts, with those two wins sandwiched between an eye-catching second-place finish behind SIGRID NANSEN at Bath. Glad to see jockey Pat Cosgrave once again take the saddle after guiding the four-year-old to the win at Brighton last year, the mood in George Baker’s stable should be at a high.

While CRIMSON KING and DOUBLE LEGEND (both 11/2 with Ladbrokes) might open Tuesday’s meeting as top picks with the bookmakers, don’t be surprised to see a returning CONFILS lay down a marker at Kempton.

Betting Tip: DYAGILEV win – 9/2 @ Coral

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

20:25 PM – Kempton – Race 8

For our second Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to the penultimate contest at Kempton and the Unibet Casino Deposit £10 Get £40 Bonus Handicap.

Marking his return from the enforced break at Lingfield on June 6th, DYAGILEV put in another eye-catching display in Surrey and finished under a length behind AVORISK ET PERILS in another Class 6 contest. Picking up the win at Chelmsford prior to the break and enjoying a real purple patch, the five-year-old also impressed after a second-place finish in his last appearance at Kempton. Boosted by the news that jockey David Probert will once again take the saddle after forming a blossoming relationship prior to the break, trainer Simon Pearce should be looking to keep up his recent momentum in midweek.

While AWESOMEDUDE (7/2 with William Hill) might open Tuesday’s meeting as the bookmakers pick, we’re backing another win for DYAGILEV at Kempton.
