With what promises to be a stacked weekend of British horse racing on the cards, Saturday afternoon offers us a long list of noteworthy meetings from the likes of Doncaster, Cheltenham and Wolverhampton.

On that note, for those of you looking to open the weekend with a flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for throughout Saturday.

13:45 PM – Doncaster – Race 2

Betting Tip: JUST FRANK win – 7/2 @ 888sport
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our opening Tip of the Day, we take a look at a stacked afternoon at Doncaster and the Class 1 vertem.co.uk Doncaster Stakes.

While both LIPIZZANER and ZAMAANI (9/4 with Paddy Power) might be seen as the standout picks on Saturday, there is no doubt that JUST FRANK will be relishing a step up in class after what has been a real purple patch. Marking his return from an 85-day break at Thirsk on September 14th, the two-year-old talent claimed victory in the JW 4×4 Northallerton Novice Auction Stakes and has formed an eye-catching partnership with jockey Lewis Edmunds.

Also last seen out at Newmarket on October 3rd, Les Eyre’s gelding saw off a 27-horse line-up to secure victory in the Class 2 £150,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes.

16:25 PM – Cheltenham – Race 5

Betting Tip: STREETS OF DOYEN win – 5/2 @ Paddy Power
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our second Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Cheltenham and the Class 2 Lara Telfer Reined In For Racing Welfare Novices’ Hurdle.

Only continuing on what has been a stunning run of form over the past month, STREETS OF DOYEN is rightfully seen as a standout pick in Gloucestershire on Saturday and it is no surprise that trainer John C McConnell holds his six-year-old in high regard. Last seen out at Cork on October 18th, he claimed victory in the I.N.H. Stallion Owners EBF Novice Hurdle and has now won each of his last three starts on the spin after also landing back-to-back wins at Gowran Park and Roscommon.

Only going from strength to strength since making a return from racing’s enforced break over the summer, we’re backing another fruitful afternoon for STREETS OF DOYEN this weekend.
