British Horse Racing Tips – 25 June 2020

Horse Racing

With what has been another stellar midweek schedule of action from behind closed doors, Thursday night once again offers us a string of noteworthy meetings from both Bath and Leicester.

On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a midweek flutter, we have found you a couple of helpful tips that are certainly worth keeping an eye out for on Thursday night.

Betting Tip: JEANETTE MAY win – 3/1 @ William Hill

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

19:25 PM – Leicester – Race 6

For our opening Tip of the Night, we turn our attention to Leicester and the Class 6 Weddings In The Kube Handicap meeting.

Really laying down a marker in her return from the enforced break earlier in the month, JEANETTE MAY rightfully opens Thursday’s meeting as a standout pick with the bookmakers. Claiming a maiden win at Yarmouth back on June 11th when beating GUVENOR’S CHOICE in the Sky Sports Racing HD On Virgin 535 Handicap, the mood in William Stone’s stable should be at a high as they make the trip to Leicester.

Dropping back down after a brief showing in a Class 4 contest at Chelmsford last year, four-year-old JEANETTE MAY should be too strong on a favourable track in midweek.

Betting Tip: PRINCESS WAY win – 4/1 @ Paddy Power

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

19:40 PM – Bath – Race 7

For our second Tip of the Night, we take a look at the Sky Sports Racing HD Virgin 535 Handicap meeting at Bath.

While PRINCESS WAY may have last been seen back in September when failing to hold onto the lead in the Winning Post Bookmakers Bristol Handicap, the six-year-old was enjoying an eye-catching run of form before the enforced break. With jockey Rhiain Ingram once again set to take the saddle in midweek after forming a strong partnership over the past two years, she also has a reputation for her most recent displays at Bath. Including claiming victory in another Class 5 meeting back in August, the speedy mare has now won three of her last four trips to Thursday’s track.

While Ed Walker’s AL DAIHA (5/2 with Coral) might open Thursday’s meeting as a marginal top pick with the bookmakers, we’re backing PRINCESS WAY to mark her return in style this week and extend on a glittering record at Bath.
