Opening up the new week with a host of noteworthy meetings from across Britain on Monday afternoon, we are offered a stacked schedule from the likes of Hamilton, Newton Abbot and Bath.

On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for throughout Monday.

Betting Tip: UNION ROSE win – 9/2 @ Paddy Power
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

14:50 PM – Bath – Race 2

For our opening Tip of the Day, we take a look at Bath and the Sign Express Handicap.

One of just two Class 4 contests taking place in Somerset, there is no doubt that many are excited to see a red-hot UNION ROSE make a return to action. Last seen at Bath on September 14th when laying down another marker, the eight-year-old claimed victory in the Signs Express Handicap and the mood in Ronald Harris’ stable appears to be at a real high. Now in the midst of firmly his brightest spell of 2020, UNION ROSE has now secured back-to-back wins after also seeing off BRUNEL’S BOY in the Join Racing TV Now Handicap at Sandown earlier in the month.

While late money is also expected to come in for FOX HILL (13/2 with Unibet), we’re backing another successful afternoon in Somerset for UNION ROSE.

Betting Tip: MONSIEUR D’ARQUE win – 10/3 @ Bet365
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

16:10 PM – Newton Abbot – Race 5

For our second Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Newton Abbot and the Class 3 Follow @attheraces On Twitter Handicap Chase.

On paper the standout meeting in Devon on Monday afternoon, MONSIEUR D’ARQUE should be confident of upsetting the odds after another impressive display at Warwick last time out on September 21st. Finishing second behind a high-flying TEMPLEPARK in the racingtv.com Handicap Chase last week, the six-year-old has really caught the eye since making a return from racing’s enforced break. Forming what has been a very promising partnership with jockey Harry Skelton, who will once again take the saddle on Monday, he made his return from a 120-day break when claiming victory in the Betway Handicap Chase at Market Rasen on July 10th.

With MONSIEUR D’ARQUE enjoying a real purple patch, it is well worth keeping an eye out for him in Devon.
