With another stellar weekend of horse racing taking place from across the country, the action rolls onto Monday and what promises to be a string of eye-catching meetings from the likes of Windsor, Thirsk and Yarmouth.
On that note, for those of you out there looking to open the week with a flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for on Monday.
14:30 PM – Yarmouth – Race 6
For our opening Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Yarmouth and the Follow At The Races On Twitter Handicap.
The only Class 3 meeting to take place at Monday’s track, there is no doubt that DEEP INTRIGUE will be looking to build off of his most recent display at Newmarket last week. Really finding his feet following a return from racing’s enforced break, the four-year-old pick up the victory in the Class 3 Betway Handicap after leading from the start. Showing plenty of promise and seen to be a future Group horse, the speedy colt has gained plenty of admirers since marking a debut at Bath back in 2018.
Rightfully opening his first trip to Yarmouth as a top pick with the bookmakers, DEEP INTRIGUE should be too strong for the chasing pack on Monday afternoon.
15:20 PM – Windsor – Race 4
For our second Tip of the Day, we take a look at Windsor and what appears to be a standout Follow At The Races On Twitter Handicap.
One of just two Class 2 meetings to take place in Berkshire on Monday, three-year-old GARSMAN should be relishing a step up in class in what is a maiden appearance at Windsor. Last seen at Newmarket earlier in the month when beating POETS DANCE in the Newmarket Equine Security Handicap, he has enjoyed an eye-catching rise either side of the enforced break. With plenty of buzz around him, trainer Michael Appleby has seen his gelding pick up the victory in three of his last four starts.
While RAYONG (2/1 with Betfair) might open Monday’s meeting as a top pick with the bookmakers having the most Class 2 experience, GARSMAN should be looking to extend on his stellar rise at Windsor.
