With another stacked midweek schedule from across the British horse racing scene, we are offered a string of eye-catching meetings from the likes of Newton Abbot, Ayr and Lingfield.

On that note, for those of you out there looking to stick on a midweek flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for throughout Wednesday.

Betting Tip: HACHERT win – 7/2 @ Betfair

15:10 PM – Ayr – Race 3

For our opening Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to an exciting afternoon at Ayr and take a look at the Class 6 CPMS Handicap (Div I).

Enjoying what has been an eye-catching run of form since returning from racing’s enforced break, talented three-year-old HACHERT has impressed since swapping trainers from G M Lyons to Jennie Candlish back in June. Last seen at Wednesday’s track when putting in another noteworthy display, he claimed victory in the Class 6 Shop PPE Online At Handicap after a stunning late charge.

Quickly becoming a budding track specialist at Ayr after a noteworthy bronze medal finish in the Scotty Brand Handicap last month, HACHERT will be making his third straight appearance at Wednesday’s track and should be looking to secure maiden back-to-back victories in midweek.

Betting Tip: SOLDIER OF LOVE win – 20/21 @ Paddy Power

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

15:50 PM – Newton Abbot – Race 6

For our second Tip of the Day, we take a look at a stacked afternoon at Newton Abbot and the Class 3 Old Gold Racing Handicap Chase.

Undoubtedly the standout pick in Devon on Wednesday, there is no doubt that a red-hot SOLDIER OF LOVE will be looking to build off of what has been a stunning return from racing’s enforced break. Last seen at this very track on July 24th when stepping up in class in the Visit Handicap Chase, the seven-year-old stormed to victory by almost four lengths and has now secured back-to-back wins after a 120-day break.

With jockey Harry Cobden set to take the saddle once again after the duo claimed victory in the Class 4 Now Never Beaten By SP Novices’ Handicap Chase last month, SOLDIER OF LOVE should be too strong for the chasing pack in midweek.
