With the midweek schedule of British horse racing rolling onto Thursday afternoon, we are offered a host of noteworthy meetings from the likes of Market Rasen, Newbury, Chelmsford and Kempton.

On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a midweek flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for throughout Thursday.

14:40 PM – Market Rasen – Race 6

Betting Tip: OKSANA win – 4/1 @ 888sport
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our opening Tip of the Day, we take a look at Market Rasen and the Class 4 Covered By MansionBet Faller Insurance Handicap Hurdle.

Last seen keeping up her recent momentum with a third-place finish in the Follow At The Races On Twitter Handicap Hurdle at Sedgefield on October 7th, the seven-year-old is seen as a marginal top pick in Lincolnshire. Appearing to have gone from strength to strength after forming an eye-catching partnership with jockey Jonathan England, she also marked her return from a 50-day break in impressive fashion at this very track back on September 26th.

Claiming victory at Market Rasen in the Class 5 Thank You Nunns Mazda & Mitsubishi Grimsby Handicap Hurdle, it is well worth keeping an eye out for OKSANA on Thursday.

18:45 PM – Chelmsford – Race 5

Betting Tip: SOLID STONE win – 7/2 @ Unibet
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our second Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to the evening session at Chelmsford and the Free Streaming Every UK Race Handicap.

The only Class 2 contest to take place in Essex on Thursday, SOLID STONE has largely impressed since returning from racing’s enforced break over the summer and will be hoping to keep up that momentum in midweek. The four-year-old also marked his return from a 287-day break with victory at Sandown in the Class 2 Unibet “15-To-Go” Every ITV Royal Ascot Race Handicap on June 13th.

Securing at least a top-three finish in four of his five starts since the restart, it should also be noted that he previously claimed victory in his last trip to Chelmsford in the Racing Welfare Supporting Racing’s Workforce Handicap back in September.
