With another exciting midweek schedule of British horse racing from behind closed doors, we are offered a string of noteworthy meetings from the likes of Stratford, Bath and Ripon.

On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a midweek flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for throughout Thursday.

Betting Tip: OVERWRITE win – 6/5 @ Paddy Power

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

16:40 PM – Bath – Race 6

Four our opening Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Bath and the only Class 3 contest to take place at Lansdown Hill on Thursday afternoon.

Previously seen prior to racing’s enforced break when claiming victory in the EBF Novice Median Auction Stakes, OVERWRITE has stayed active since making a return after a 238-day extended rest. Already marking his return with an eye-catching win at Windsor when stepping up in the Class 2 Bombardier “March To Your Own Drum” Handicap on June 28th, trainer Mark Johnston certainly holds the talented colt in high regard.

Last seen at Goodwood earlier in the month when finishing just a nose behind MURAAD in the Class3 LG Signature Apprentice Handicap, OVERWRITE should be too strong for the chasing pack on Thursday afternoon.

Betting Tip: REALLY SUPER win – 3/1 @ William Hill

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

19:20 PM – Stratford – Race 7

For our second Tip of the Day, we take a look at an exciting evening session at Stratford and the Class 2 Bet At racingtv.com Handicap Chase.

While BBOLD (9/4 with Betfair) might open Thursday’s meeting as a marginal top pick with the bookmakers, REALLY SUPER should be looking to build off of another eye-catching display at Market Rasen on July 10th. Continuing to gain plenty of plaudits prior to racing’s enforced break, the six-year-old is seen as a budding group racer. Last seen claiming the victory in the Class 1 Betway Summer Plate Handicap Chase last month and romping to the win by almost six lengths, he should also be boosted by the news that jockey Jack Quinlan will once again take the saddle on Thursday.

Also marking his return from the interruption with a noteworthy silver medal finish in the Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Handicap at Kempton, we’re backing REALLY SUPER to upset the odds in midweek.
