With what promises to be another exciting weekend of British horse racing from behind closed doors, the action gets underway on Friday with meetings at the likes of Sandown, Wolverhampton, Cartmel and Hamilton.

On that note, for those of you looking to open this weekend with a little flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for on Friday.

Betting Tip: CAPTAIN BUCK’S win – 6/4 @ William Hill

14:35 PM – Cartmel – Race 5

For our opening Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Cartmel and the only class 3 contest on Friday afternoon.

With all eyes falling on the Holker Group Novices’ Handicap Chase, there is no doubt that a red-hot CAPTAIN BUCK’S will be looking to build off of a stunning recent purple patch. Last seen putting on another noteworthy display at Stratford on July 18th after a 115-day break, the eight-year-old claimed the victory in the Class 4 Social Betting At Low6 Handicap Chase and has impressed since re-joining Paul Nicholls’ stable back in June.

Also entering racing’s enforced break with another victory at Larkhill and glad to see jockey Harry Cobden once again take the saddle on Friday, we’re backing CAPTAIN BUCK’S to make it three wins on the bounce at Cartmell this week.

Betting Tip: REVOLVER win – @ 20/21 Coral

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

16:05 PM – Sandown – Race 7

For our second Tip of the Day, we take a look at what should be the standout meeting at Sandown on Friday afternoon and the Class 3 Hersham Handicap.

Unsurprisingly, only among a five-horse line-up this week, the super talented REVOLVER will have all eyes on him at Surrey and is rightfully a landslide top pick with the bookmakers. Last seen at Haydock on July 17th when storming to victory in the Class 4 Watch On Racing TV Handicap, it has been nothing short of a remarkable return from racing’s enforced break for the three-year-old. Really seen as a budding superstar and held in extremely high regard by trainer Sir Mark Prescott, REVOLVER has now claimed four wins on the bounce since making a return to action at Pontefract in the Wilfred Underwood Memorial Handicap.

In the midst of a stellar purple patch, he should be too strong on a favourable line-up this week.
