Opening up this weekend’s British horse racing schedule on Saturday lunchtime, we’re offered a host of noteworthy meetings from the likes of Doncaster, Kelso, Wincanton and Aintree.

On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a weekend flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for.

11:50 PM – Doncaster – Race 1

Betting Tip: IMPERIUM BLUE win – 21/10 @ Paddy Power
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our first Tip of the Day, we take a look at the opening contest at Doncaster on Saturday lunchtime and the Class 4 Betfair Weighed In Podcast Nursery Handicap.

Swapping trainers from Jamie Osborne to Nigel Tinkler’s stable back in September, IMPERIUM BLUE has only gone from strength to strength since making a debut appearance at Chepstow after returning from racing’s enforced break. Forming a blossoming relationship with jockey Faye McManoman who will once again take the saddle for the third time on the bounce this weekend, the two-year-old talent was last seen securing a silver medal finish in the Class 3 Like MansionBet On Facebook Nursery Handicap on October 28th.

Already claiming victories at the likes of Ripon and York, IMPERIUM BLUE will be looking to make a similar statement.

12:40 PM – Wincanton – Race 1

Betting Tip: BUSTER THOMAS win – 4/1 @ Betfair
*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

For our second Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to a stacked afternoon at Wincanton this weekend and the Class 3 Follow @RacingTV On Twitter Now Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Chase.

While OLEG (15/8 with William Hill) might be seen as a marginal top pick with the bookmakers on Saturday, BUSTER THOMAS is enjoying a real Indian summer and should be confident of upsetting the odds. Returning from what was an extended 18-month break by securing a silver medal finish at Southwell on July 19th, trainer Emma Lavelle has been very pleased with the process that her nine-year-old has shown.

Securing a place finish in each of his three starts since returning to action over the summer, it is well worth keeping an eye out for BUSTER THOMAS at Wincanton this weekend.
