With the new week opening up with an exciting schedule of British horse racing, we are offered a host of noteworthy meetings from the likes of Leicester, Lingfield, Perth and Windsor.

On that note, for those of you looking to open the week with a flutter, we have searched far and wide to find you a couple of helpful tips that are worth keeping an eye out for throughout Monday.

Betting Tip:SHADY MCCOY win – 13/2 @ Coral

15:20 PM – Leicester – Race 5

For our opening Tip of the Day, we turn our attention to Leicester and the Join Racing TV Now Handicap meeting on Monday afternoon. The only Class 3 contest on the billing, SHADY MCCOY should be quietly confident of upsetting the odds after what has been a very impressive return from racing’s enforced break.

While SANSEVERO (9/2 with Ladbrokes) might be seen as the bookies’ favourite in Oadby, the 10-year-old is enjoying a real Indian summer and will be boosted by another eye-catching display last time out at Sandown on August 31st.

Claiming victory in the Weybridge Handicap and also ending his 188-day break with another win in the Betway Casino Handicap at Haydock back in June, the Ian Williams stable should be confident of landing back-to-back victories on Monday afternoon.

Betting Tip:PRINCE ALEX win – 5/2 @ Paddy Power

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

16:55 PM – Leicester – Race 8

For our second Tip of the Day, we once again stay at Leicester and take a look at the Class 4 Welcomm Communications Handicap. The final meeting in Oadby on Monday, many are excited to see PRINCE ALEX once again in action this week after enjoying what was a scintillating purple patch last month.

Held in high regard by trainer Ralph Beckett and seen as a potential budding group racer, the three-year-old was last seen out at Beverley on August 27th when putting on a show in the William Hill Lengthen #YourOdds Handicap.

Claiming victory over MANZIL by two lengths and gaining plenty of plaudits in doing so, PRINCE ALEX has now won his last two starts on the bounce and the Beckett stable will be confident of keeping up their red-hot momentum on Monday evening.
