With French racing once again taking to the stage from behind closed doors this week, all eyes from across the globe will once again turn towards what should be another stellar day of meetings at Deauville throughout Sunday.

On that note, for those of you out there who are looking to stick a flutter on what should be another exciting day at Deauville this weekend, we have found a couple of noteworthy tips that are worth keeping an eye out for on Sunday.

Betting Tip: HOLDTHASIGREEN win – @ 11/4 William Hill

15:25 PM – Deauville – Race 6

For our opening Tip of the Day, we take a look at the Prix de Barbeville and what should be the standout meeting of Sunday’s races.

Making a return to action since securing a third-place finish at Longchamp in his last start back in October, HOLDTHASIGREEN should be relishing a real opportunity at Deauville this weekend. Along with claiming victory on his last appearance at Sunday’s course and winning the Darley Prix Kergorlay back in 2018, trainer Bruno Audouin has seen his eight-year-old romp to victory in two of his last five starts.

With that run also highlighted by a win at Longchamp against Sunday’s favourite CALL THE WIND (8/13 with Coral) in another Class 1 meeting, we’re backing a return to winning ways for Holdthasigreen this weekend.

Betting Tip: TAWKEEL win – 11/10 @ Paddy Power

*Odds are correct at time of writing and are subject to change without prior notice.

17:10 PM – Deauville – Race 9

For our second Tip of the Day, we once again take a look at Deauville and one three-year-old who will certainly have all eyes on from across the horse racing world on her this weekend.

Quickly being branded as a budding superstar in the making, the highly-touted TAWKEEL rightfully opens Sunday’s meeting as a favourite with the bookmakers. Putting in what was a rampant display at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in her last start, trainer J-C Rouget saw his filly romp to victory over VILLA ROYALE by four and a half lengths.

Also opening her maiden calendar year with what was a dominant victory at Pau on another mile course back on January 3rd, there is no doubt that a red-hot TAWKEEL should be looking to make another statement at Deauville this weekend.
