What is William Hill Betting TV?
William Hill Betting TV is a free live streaming service offered to all William Hill account holders. (The live streaming service is also known as William Hill TV)
With William Hill TV you can watch selected horse and greyhound racing for free. This option is available to UK and Ireland residents only.
To watch live races at William Hill TV all you have to do is:
- Register at William Hill – registration is free and you don’t have to make a deposit
- Log in to your William Hill account
- Navigate to either horse racing or greyhound racing section of the site
- Select an event marked with green video symbol and start watching
Please note that not all events are free to watch, only the ones that are marked green are totally free. Events with yellow cross symbols are Bet and Watch-restricted events.
To watch those events you’ll have to use Bet & Watch option within William Hill Betting TV.
What is Bet and Watch option at William Hill TV?
William Hill offers 2 types of live streaming services – 100% free to watch and Bet & Watch options.
To watch certain events, William Hill requires that you either have a funded account or have placed a bet in the previous 24 hours.
On top of that, for certain horse racing live streams you will need to place a bet of £1 or more. That is called Bet & Watch.
You will easily spot the difference between a free stream and Bet & Watch event, it will be shown on your screen as on the image below.
If the event is marked with a yellow cross symbol, it is a Bet & Watch restricted event.
Bet and Watch events carry different requirements and you can use any of the options below;
Place at least a £1 single bet or a £0.50 each-way single bet (total stake £1.00)
Place at least a £2 double bet or a £1.00 each-way double bet (total stake £2.00)
Place at least a £3 treble bet or a £1.50 each-way treble bet (total stake £3.00)
You can also place multiples – a stake of £1 per event must be spent to view the races.
